Even though all the TCP/IP configuration parameters have been defined correctly, there are still cases when you may not be able to connect to the network. You should then check the hardware configuration again for your network adapter.

For token-ring network adapters, make sure that it is set to the right ring speed (4 MB to 16 MB).

For Ethernet network adapters, make sure that the connecter type is defined correctly (bnc or dix).
